The Quasimondo, Milwaukee Physical Theatre is proud to present NUTCRACKER vs. MOUSE KING, strikingly adapted from the original story by German writer E.T.A. Hoffman. Strange and surreal, "Nussknacker und Mausekönig", written in 1816, was criticized at its time of publication for being too mature for children and too fantastical for adults.

This exciting production challenges the power of imagination, and takes its audience on a wicked trip to the battlefield, through mouse-holes, across continents-time and space-to explore the territory that lies between fantasy and reality.
